"Hi, I'd like to know where to find specs and schematics for that little machine. If someone could help me."
"We have had our Satoh Buck for many years. It has pulled many a tree and plowed many a garden. We have a Bushhog, turn plow, disc harrow, rake and trailer. We have used it as a work horse on our property for years. We knew the original purchaser and we are the 2nd owner. Never had an engine problem. Have put it through severe load conditions many times. It is common to pull a 25' long pine that is 2' in diameter in 4-wheel drive. We do some maintenance on it, including oil, grease, battery and cleaning each time we use it. We keep it in a shed and out of the weather. It is on the original tractor tread tires. I've had to replace the 3-point hitch chains because the PTO pin flew out and the PTO arm got wild as it was spinning down with the Bushhog attachment. The lights are poor but I plan on replacing them with LMP 4412s from NAPA. If I had it to do over, I would buy it again."
"While I have used various tractors over the years this is my first tractor. I was hesitant at first because the Satoh is no longer made, but after talking with Bill and Lemuel at Valley Power I bought the Buck. Well 3 years later I have been very pleased with the Satoh. I use it on my 21 acres to move trees, scrape roads and mow. This summer I added a Koyker 110 FEL which has greatly increased the versatility of the Buck. I mow with a Kubota REF and a Bushog Squaler. I use a Leinbach scoop pan and a Taylor boxscrape as well. The tractor does great although there is limited room in the cockpit. I look forward to using it for many, many more years! "
"I love my tractor except it's overheating a bit too much. Gotta get that looked at."
