"I bought the Yanmar for grass topping as I have a small herd of Highland Cattle and a flock of Suffolk cross sheep. It has proved an excellent buy, as I can now do all the tasks I used to get a farm contractor to do. I also have a post knocker and a small sprayer and will be buying a fertilizer spreader. The power shift is excellent as there is no need to depress the clutch when changing gear, this is especially useful in confined spaces."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Excellent fuel economy and simple to work on. Cons: Difficult in obtaining spares in UK. Electrics especially charging system is unreliable. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: UK OT I also considered buying: Leyland 154, David Brown 885

"The YM1610 is a perfect match for the 4ft topper I'm using and is a really simple tractor to use.It is well made, little touches such as brass/rubber 'O' rings on the radiator, engine and gearbox drains make servicing easy. I'm having trouble getting it registered for road use in the uk, currently I'm awaiting a response from Customs and Excise - they need evidence of duty paid, without which there might be some liability."

Pros: Easy gear shift - clutchless is an option. Cons: Cost of parts imported from states. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: UK OT I also considered buying:
