"When I bought the tractor, the hour meter was not functioning, so I put a new one on. I have 320 hrs. on it. I am really pleased with this small tractor. It will run all day and never complains. The 3 point works like it should (after a little massaging) and I replaced all the tires. No black smoke and it is an excellent piece of machinery. Previously I traded a '53 Jubilee with a bush hog and FEL. My only regret is I miss the FEL. I don't know how to get the pictures here. Is anyone able to tell me how?"
"Dependable. Starts easily with the thermostat even in temperatures of -5 degrees Fahrenheit. Some rate this tractor at 19 hp, others 20 hp. It definitely has much more pep than my YM155. The front wheel assist (often incorrectly referred to as a 4x4 tractor) really helps in mud and snow. Tills the garden and pulls a 6 foot wide box scraper without problems."
"This tractor had 190 hrs. since overhaul when I bought it. Now has almost 500. Has been trouble free, and has lots of power. Will easily lift front end if plow sticks on a big tree root, or will just keep on digging with back tires until the clutch is pushed in. Will run all day on about 3 gallons of diesel. I don't think lack of water pump is a problem, as when it is 100+ degrees it still doesn't boil over. But then it is too hot for me. Parts are so easy to get at Hoye tractor supply. And are priced far below same items for the Mitsubishi I had before, lack of parts is reason I sold the Mitsubishi D1800."
"I bought this tractor from a Craigslist ad and I feel I made a good deal. I paid 3995. For the tractor with a five foot (new) scraper blade in the deal. It may sound like a lot for this one, but it was a completely restored tractor and it starts right up and runs like a tractor should. I also bought a little Yanmar YM122 that came with eight different attachments. I really like that one too but the starter went bad and I have not been able to find one for it,so right now it just sits in my backyard looking lonesome. If anyone out there can help me find a starter, please contact me. The little 12 HP, one cyl. deisel surprised me with it's power. It has three point hitch and is a cat 1 machine. I also own a little Mitsubishi 15 HP tractor with a four foot finish mower. I have three acres here but I also own five acres of cleared land about a hundred yards down the road. I needed a tractor with a bush hog or mower so when this one showed up on CL, I went and checked it out. I paid good money for this one too,but it is a real stud! I mowed the whole five acres in less than an hour and half with just this little machine. The grass and weeds had grown to over seven feet tall over most of it, but the little Mitsubishi chugged right along and did a great job. I am now in the process of building a big pole shed /carport to park the two small tractors in and several of our cars, but I am supposed to be reviewing the Yanmar 1700 so I'll get back to that. I love it! Runs like a dream and has all the power I will ever need for my two smaller tracts of land. "
"I live in Oklahoma and use the tractor for my large garden, discing, mowing, middle busting and getting my deer plot ready for hunting season. I retired about 2 years ago and trying to get to as self sufficient as possible. "
