"I've used this 24 hp tractor with a Koykker loader hard for ten years, and I've abused it by using it many times like a bulldozer. But, it has the heart of a lion. I much prefer using it over my 110 hp Allis Model 200. The Yanmar is nimble, easy to control, powerful beyond its size--easily carry 800 lb. bales on a 3-pt spike. After cutting up deadfall, I used it to push logs up into burn piles(we call 'em dozer decks in the Ozarks) and wound up splitting the frame in four places. Just replaced the frame and reinforced it by welding 1/2 inch steel plate front to back along the sides. Starts every time and runs all day on 5 gals diesel. Primary wearout issues have been with seals on front knuckles and rear axle--replace the latter twice because design allowed baling twine, then two years later fresh-cut hay to wrap around axle and eat up seal. Replacing front seals is a 30-minute job, but the back seal is a beast: pulling the axle, pressing on new seal, re-inserting the axle are all hard, but getting the PTO back in is a booger bear. All-in-all, most of the mechanical problems with this great little tractor are of my own making. I use Hoye Tractor Parts in Grand Prairie for parts. They specialize in Yanmar and are knowledgeable in mechanical procedures. Best tractor I've ever owned."
