"I've been able to use my tractor a few times since our snowfall. I cleared our road which is a 7 percent downgrade of 3 inches of snow and cleared my and my neighbors driveways with now problem using the box grader that came with it. When we had six to eight inches, it was a different story. First of all, the item I was using to clear snow is not made for that use but it worked till I had so much snow behind me that it lifted the rear tires. Secondly I had no snow chains nor did I think to fill the rear tires with fluid for ballast. I will remember this trick next year and do it prior to the snowfall. It is a wonderful tractor and has a great amount of pulling power. I especially like when I can engage both rear tires for added traction. This is my first tractor and it's more for grading and leveling my drives than anything else but I also have some mature bushes that I will yank out in the spring with this tractor. Overall I am very pleased with it."

"I bought my Yanmar when I purchased my place in 2004. Graded the drive, mowed with 5ft. brushhog, used post hole driller, hauled sacks of cement for fence post, and hauled and leveled dirt and rock. It got alot of abuse, but worked well. I have recently overhauled the engine resulting from letting the engine run in a overheated state too long. I hope to get it going again soon."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: One though compact tractor. Starts easily when in tune. Cons: Limited room for feet (#12) to get on petals. Engine tends to overheat. Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA TX I also considered buying:
