Great Tractor Posted by Mike Quick on 12/26/2013

I have 8 acres of wooded 3 foot thick. Pines have used the EX450 to lift and move 8-10 foot sections of trees and the tractor also powers a PTO driven wood chipper and the front loader to excavate and build greenhouses and dig Hugel Kultur garden beds.

This tractor has performed flawlessly and is also used pulling a 7 foot heavy duty box scraper for a nearly mile long dirt road for access to our home. There are no Cons except for the bad mouths out there who have cult followings of the orange and green variety.

I have nothing bad to say about the green and orange paint cult people because they have more money than I do to buy a tractor that does have good quality just like the Cub Cadet/Yanmar. The only difference I can find in any of them is that they cost more in initial price and maintenance items, but they don't out-perform the yellow and black bumblebee called CC/Yanmar.

I know because I have used and owned both of the others pound for pound the price makes a significant difference also don't forget the 5 year warranty that comes with the EX450. Now as far as power and smooth operation it has no hiccups there and four wheel is the only way to go for any tractor that you may buy regardless of paint color.
