Yanmar/Cub Cadet SX3100
Model year: 2010Date Purchased: 2013-01-05Number of Hours: 1
"I bought this to use between rows of blueberries. The tractor had issues jumping out of 4 whl drv. Yanmar installed a heavier detent spring in the shifter under warranty and had been aware of the problem occurring in SOME tractors. It has an awesome mowing deck. The loader has enough capacity
and is only limited by the weight of the tractor.
It is very maneuverable for snow removal, yard work, berry & vegetable production, etc. You will be limited by its size and weight, but that is a good thing. Filling the rear tires with liquid makes a world of difference. I used a cornstarch related liquid."
REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Pros: High HP: Weight, decent loader capacity, ex mower, good hyd flow.Cons: I am not impressed by Yanmar Cust Service. I would like to see wheel spacer extensions & rear SCV's.Type of User: Commercial FarmerLocation: USA PAI also considered buying: REVIEWER'S PHOTOS
SX3100 Great Machine
Model year: 2011Date Purchased: 2012-11-04Number of Hours: 4
"I don't have much seat time on this tractor yet but just looking at it you can tell its one well build machine. I have tried the MMM and it works great. I have to get use to the much larger turn radius. The loader works great with plenty of power. I purchased this machine with out even seeing it or even knowing its exact size and boy did I luck out. Just what I was looking for.
The only thing I wish was different was they way the MMM mounts are so low when you remove the mower deck itself. Cuts down on your ground clearance. With that aside I'll have to put more hours on the machine to know more."
REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Pros: One hell of a sharp looking machine, power, curved loader.Cons: Mower deck mounts being low, hyd. lines exposed when mower deck removed.Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 AcresLocation: USA CTI also considered buying: REVIEWER'S PHOTOS
