"I'm a home owner/non-commercial user that wanted a very reliable zero turn that was going to last for a long time. I got 24 years from my old Ford garden tractor, and wanted something that was going to last as long as it. I too compared a number of zero turns and thought the features of the mower made it a better value and the best for my needs. It had the good Kohler 27hp engine, the 3400 transmissions and the heavy duty 60" deck which other zero turns in the similar price range didn't. I have been very satisfied with the Exmark and love the way it cuts, and the time it has saved me."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Kohler engine, 3400 transmissions, 60-inch deck, reliability. Cons: Pretty loud---wear hearing protection! Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA MI I also considered buying: Hustler Super Z

"Wanted to purchase a zero turn for 3 to 10 acres of lawn. Not planning to mow multiple yards, so wanted to stay under commercial level mowers. Did want quality 60 inch cut, ride, service, and longevity in the mower. After demoing a number of models that offered upper residential, semi commercial options, the Exmark Pioneer S with Kohler CV740 27hp 60-inch cut won me over hands down. Rode smoother with larger wheels, better handling/speed/turning with upper end 3400 hydros, and gives a great cut with ultra cut 4 deck. So far, the results have lived up to my expectations. I especially like the off set deck as I have some trees and landscaping to mow around. I also am impressed with the traction I have on sloping areas my lawn. No slips to slides on dry or wet conditions. At this level, each maker has a mower that will compare and meet a lot of your needs, but for me the Exmark is the best for the money you are paying."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: 3400 hydros, solid ultra cut 4 mowing deck, larger wheels, great speed, tight turning, off set mowing deck with quick clean out panels. Cons: Upper end pricing for non-commercial, Kohler option uses little more gas IMO. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA KY I also considered buying: Gravely ZT HD 60, Bad Boy MZ
