Ferris Zero Turn Mower Posted by Curtis Gaudet on 07/23/2014

I replaced my 11 year old Dixie Chopper with this Ferris zero-turn when the engine started leaking oil and the tires needed replacing. Doing my own maintenance on both the old one and now the new one, the Ferris has been less trouble over the years, only belt changes and one idler replaced.

The Kawasaki engine has been flawless. I really like how compact and easy to maneuver it is. The shock absorbers also help over rough terrain. I own 8 acres but only mow about 3 1/2 acres with this mower and the rest is done with my Kubota diesel tractor.

Now in my 8th year with this mower and hope to get many more. I will definitely consider another when this one gives up.
