"This tractor has been an outstanding purchase for me. It has been cheap, good power, good hydradics, and reliable. My tractor had unusual low hours when I purchased it, so was like new. It has the larger 305 CI engine of the later models which has more HP than earlier models. It has the optional double hydradic pumps, and full front end weights. All these seems to make important differences. I use it to round bale hay with a John Deere 435. My experience is extraordinary good. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: It is reliable, has good power as you don't ever stall the engine in the first six gears out of eight, and easy to service. Cons: It lacks shuttle shift and shilfing on the go. Type of User: Commercial Farmer Location: USA TN I also considered buying:

"I named her Dorothy because she came from Kansas. It was a long trip and it took a while for her to get here, and we didn't waste anytime putting her straight to work on plowing and discing. One thing we noticed was that she has a really light front end, so we added a front weight bracket (~200#) for protection but mostly to add some weight. This tractor works great with the Discbine, Balers, Drag Discs and 3x16"KV break plow. Now, you're wondering a simple 3x16 plow, but a break plow turning 12" deep in never-broken soil full of roots and stumps. Lately she's been hooked up to a 32" stump grinder and let's just say she's getting a good workout indeed. I am very happy with Dorothy...and hope she likes it here with us too!"

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Plenty of heart. Cons: Too light on the front end. Type of User: Homeowner 100+ Acres Location: CND OT I also considered buying: New Holland TB100
