Model year: 2013 Date Purchased: 2013-08-02 Number of Hours: 4

"I am really ticked that I ever bought this. My dealer initially quoted the RCR1860 cutter which has the thicker 10ga deck and fully boxed top braces throughout, but switched me to this model since they sold out of the other one. I've only used my mower twice to clear and cut a small 3 acre area that has nothing but tall weeds and grass and some light brush that you don't see from time to time. Anyway, I was using it today for only the second time since getting it earlier this month and I hit a dip in the field that made the cutter bottom out on a large rock. It almost choked the tractor down, but I figured that for $1,200.00, this cutter would be fine. Unfortunately, It immediately began to vibrate badly in oscillations. I stopped and figured the mower may have broken the shear bolt. Well, it started back up and continued the same vibrations. Upon further inspection, I noticed a large dent on the top of the deck from the underside poking out. Guess it threw something up that caused that at the same time. I took my hammer to tap the dent back down and it actually put a larger dent in the other direction! What a piece of junk! I can't believe that the deck isn't thick enough to handle this minor issue. I am not sure what is causing the vibration unless it's a bent shaft out of the gear box, but regardless, I'm going back to the dealer with it and demand some kind of trade for the heavier duty RCR1860. If I can't get some assistance, then this will be my last Land Pride purchase. I was in the process of spending another $4k with them, so we'll see."
