Model year: 2013 Date Purchased: 2013-08-01 Number of Hours: 45

"I'm new to this site. I was looking to buy a new tractor over the past few years. I looked at the McCormick line and tried researching, with little info to be found. So, at any rate, I ended up purchased the X10.40 with cab. I have been using it for over 3 months now and cannot say anything bad about it. It was $10k less than the JD or NH. 4 year engine warranty. If anything negative it would be that the interior is pretty much cheap plastic, but so is every other tractor today. I've operated many of them. Also, my local dealer is 45 minutes away, and they seem to be a little lacking on knowledge. That is probably the only thing that bothers me. I have a JD dealer 4 blocks away but there was too much money difference. They can say what they want about resale, it's always worth a lot on trade until you are the one trading it in. I have used the tractor for landscaping and snow removal. Absolutely love the factory cab. Will never move snow without a cab again. AC nice in hot summer as well. The cab height is over 8' hi, so be aware this will not fit in a 8' garage door. My building is 8' 6" and I have a little height to spare. This is a big deal if you are trying to keep this inside. I have 45 hours on tractor and just did first oil change. Relatively simple to work on and service. The 4 cylinder Daedong seems to me a fine engine, so far. Plenty of power, starts good. Maybe little on noisy side but I think they all are in this line of tractor. Overall, I think the tractor was a good purchase.. This was the most bang for the buck in my area. I just hope it stands up to the test of time."
