"New and used parts are available from many distributors. The tractor operation features are modern in comparison to today's tractors. Many people are very surprised when they find out it is a 1956 year model. Very dependable, starts right up even at -40. Very good fuel usage, lots of power for its size. Only draw back is the hydraulic system. It is the first version of tel-o-flow. It is very time consuming to make various adjustments to the system. It will not reach pressure reading as noted in the technical manual. Entire hydraulic system completely rebuilt IAW Webster, MM, specifications. Inspected, hot tanked, gaskets, seals, O rings all replaced, new old stock pump. Two of us owners of the first version of tel-o-flow have the same exact problem, low pressure. I am convinced this is a design problem with the early tel-o-flow. It will not reach 1300 psi. 400 psi is the psi of two tractors. Yes bypass valve was first item checked, shimmed, or replaced by both owners. Different pressure gauges used, I have a new old stock pump, other owner has original pump on a 445."
