Second Ventrac 4231 Posted by B.K. Brown on 11/16/2013

My first Ventrac 4231 was a 2004 and had 900 trouble free hours. I purchased the 2nd 4231 when I found out EPA regs were forcing Ventrac to eliminate the Briggs Dihatsu 31 Hp. 3 Cyl.

This tractor is very well built and has done everything I ask of it. I mow, plow and blow snow, move gravel and excavate, skid logs, airate, and blow leaves. I have towed things that people do not believe it will do and pulled out other vehicles that were stuck.

I mow the back side of our pond dam at 35+ degrees and the low center of gravity and articulation keep the Ventrac stable on slopes.
